About

Sid Hauser is a visual artist, designer, and professional saxophonist from Whidbey Island, Washington. Sid grew up always invested in creative projects, and at an early age found a keen interest in painting expressive portraits. In 2016, she graduated from the University of Washington with a BA in painting and drawing as well as a minor in jazz performance. She utilized her fine arts degree post-graduation by creating posters, album covers and merch for her band as well as Seattle's local music scene. Motivated by her interest in digital painting and self-taught abilities in Adobe software, she decided to explore this avenue further by pursuing a AAS degree in graphic design from Seattle Central College, where she graduated in June 2023. She currently plays alto in the Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra, as well as Afro-Latin funk band "The New Triumph." Going forward she hopes to continue to utilize her design skills to support her musical journey and looks forward to pursuing a career that supports her unique illustration style and love for visual design.
